A still white Riserva DOCG from the heart of the Marche region, produced by Andrea Felici, a winery that has lovingly cultivated Verdicchio vineyards for generations. 0.75-liter bottle, 2018 vintage, 13% ABV. A wine born from the Il Cantico della Figura vineyard, a tribute to the church of Apiro and devotion to the Madonna della Misericordia. Fermentation on the skins (2 weeks) and aging on the lees for 12 months in glass-lined concrete tanks. The nose boasts typical proportions, revealing a clear, calcareous mineral background with smoky accents, against which stand out fruity notes of yellow peach with its apricot kernels, flowering broom shrubs, cereals with thyme, and wild herbs. The intense, fresh, and savory progression creates a dynamic palate, well-balanced by glycerine notes. The long, persistent finish is pervaded by a swirl of fruity and salty echoes.

A typically well-proportioned olfactory panorama that reveals a clear limestone mineral background with smoky accents, against which fruity notes of yellow peach with its armellina, flowering broom shrubs, cereals with thyme and wild herbs stand out.

We strive to make true wines, telling the story of our wonderful land and, to some extent, of us personally, of our passion, and of our determination, by which we have made so many sacrifices and a few privations to go on and always try to get the best from our ten hectares of vineyards. We have made it, at last, or so it seems. Critics praise us and our products are included in the wine-list of several important restaurants.

Story	The name "Vigna Il Cantico della Figura": since 2016 the term Vigna has been added to make explicit the fact that the wine is in Cru. While the name 'Il Cantico della Figura' is seen as a composition of: "Il Cantico" and "della Figura". "La Figura" refers to the church in Apiro dedicated to the Madona della Misericordia, also known as the Chiesa della Figura, since in Apiro, but not only there, small shrines or votive niches containing small statues or frescoes of the Virgin Mary or other saints are called "figure" or "figurette". For the citizens of Apiro, the Chiesa della Figura was a centre of devotion, visited in search of protection and help. Hence, the appellation is a small tribute to the icon of our beautiful territories. While "Il Cantico" is the element that links "La Figura" to St. Francis' vineyard, "Il Cantico delle Ceature" being the most famous prayer of St. Francis ...Brother Sun. Sister Moon.
