A still biodynamic white wine from Tuscany, produced by Ampeleia. Blend: Ansonica/Inzolia, Malvasia, and Trebbiano. 0.75L bottle, 2022 vintage. A wine born from Elisabetta Foradori and Giovanni Podini's passion for the Tuscan Maremma, produced according to biodynamic principles. Two-day maceration on the skins. Aged for 6 months in concrete vats. Notes of tropical fruit, citrus, chamomile, and rosemary on the nose. Golden in color.

However, Ampeleia had been conceived by three friends two years earlier, at an altitude of 2153 metres in the Comici mountain refuge in the Dolomites. It was during the winter of 2000 that Elisabetta, Giovanni and Thomas had the idea for creating Ampeleia. They wanted to farm in a place that was beautiful but out of the ordinary, away from the stereotypes around which the world of wine revolves. Read more
