Description
Still red Barbaresco DOCG, 15% ABV, produced by Albino Rocca. 100% Nebbiolo, 0.75 l bottle, 2022 vintage. A Barbaresco made from the prestigious Ovello vineyard, a historic cru in the municipality of Barbaresco. Aged for approximately 2 years in German and Austrian oak barrels (20 hl). The nose captivates with aromas of cinchona and graphite, blended with mentholated tobacco, ripe cherry, and chinotto, rounded out by balsamic notes of eucalyptus. Bright ruby garnet in the glass. Structured on the palate, with ripe tannins, lively freshness, and a pleasant savory finish. Long, mineral finish.

Thanks to the inheritance of some of our most precious vineyards in the 1960’s our grandfather was able to start what is now our winery Albino Rocca. Albino’s hard work and his strong support of our father Angelo Rocca laid the foundation that created a family winemaking tradition that has grown internationally over the years.
Our history has been built together, year by year. First through the gradual acquisition of vineyards and the production of not only Nebbiolo, but also Dolcetto and Barbera in addition to our continuous effort to evolve the quality of our Barbaresco – which starts in the vineyards and continues in the cellar.
