Description

What kind of wine it is

Cornas Les Chailles by Alain Voge is an organic red wine that expresses the character of the Rhône Valley. Its aromatic profile offers clear fruit and intense aromas, supported by a solid structure and excellent balance. On the palate, it is satisfying, combining vigour with elegant complexity. Thanks to its structure, it enhances dishes based on lamb, game and mature cheeses, as well as generous charcuterie boards.

Where it comes from

This red originates from Cornas, in the historic Rhône Valley. Its identity is preserved through a rigorous approach aimed at ensuring maximum fidelity to its place of origin. The commitment to enhancing local expression has earned Cornas Les Chailles by Alain Voge significant international critical acclaim, confirming the excellent quality and consistent production of this area.

How it is produced

After manual harvesting and destemming, fermentation takes place with indigenous yeasts. This is followed by several weeks of maceration in steel, where daily punch-downs and pump-overs optimise extraction. The subsequent eighteen-month maturation takes place in barrels without new wood, to preserve the aromatic identity. It is recommended to decant for one hour before serving.

He loved his garden and looed after is so well. He was often in a good mood and whistled all the time.He used to mett with other families from the village to share a drink and eat some sweet chestnuts or fritters sprinkled with sugar.
