Das Weingut mit vollen Namen "Cavallotto Tenuta Vitivinicola Bricco Boschis" liegt in der Gemeinde Castiglione Falletto (Provinz Cuneo) in der italienischen Region Piemont. Es wurde von Ciacomo Cavallotto gegründet, heute wird es in fünfter Generation von Guiseppe und Alfio Cavallotto geführt. Der Gesamtbesitz umfasst 25 Hektar, davon belegen die Weinberge 24 Hektar Rebfläche in den zwei historischen Lagen Bricco Boschis und Vignolo. Sie sind zur Hälfte mit Nebbiolo, sowie Barbera, Chardonnay, Dolcetto, Freisa, Grignolino und Pinot Nero bestockt. Nach der Gärung in Edelstahl reifen die Weine in traditionellen Fässern aus slovenischer Eiche verschiedener Größe. Die Produktpalette umfasst die DOC/DOC-Weine Barolo, Barbera d’Alba, Dolcetto d’Alba und Langhe. Mehr lesen
