Leaf: medium size, pentagonal, quinquelobata; Petiole breast U open or lira; Deep lower lateral breasts, U (often the edges touch or overlap); Upper side breasts with superimposed or inexpensive edges, very deep; Marked and sloping lobes; Corner at the top of the acute terminal lobes; Flat flap but with revolving edges; Upper page of light green, with a smooth or slightly bulging surface, glabra, opaque; Lower gray, velvety bottom page, with bristles on ribs. The green ribs on the top and the bottom are partially red in the vicinity of the petiole; Pronounced teeth, not very regular, in two series with straight, sharp edges.
Bunch: large, slightly elongated (cm 20-25), pyramidal, winged (with 1-2 wings), fairly compact; Long, medium-sized, herbaceous, green (reddish in good vintages and favorable displays); Pedicels rather short, large, green or reddish; Average-looking, verrucous, red-vinous; Short, thick, reddish brush.
Acino: large (mm 16,8), spherical (rarely slightly crushed), of a non-regular shape; Irregular cross section; Very pruinous skin, blue-violet, thick, barky, astringent; Persistent navel; Juicy, melted pulp; Simple flavor, colorless juice. Separation of acina: easy. |
