The Berlucchi Winery is characterised by its strong bond with the surrounding terroir. For more than 50 years, this historic Italian brand has been synonymous with high-quality sparkling wine not only in Italy but throughout the world.Formed from the encounter between Guido Berlucchi, an established winemaker, and the oenologist Franco Ziliani, Berlucchi is distinguished by the production of Franciacorta DOCG made according to the French method.After a not very successful first production, the Franciacorta Berlucchi that we all know was born with the production of 3,000 labels to which were soon added rosé sparkling wines, the first to be produced in Italy.The Berlucchi sparkling wines are distinguished by their high quality and firm structure and have nothing to envy from the well-known French sparkling wines.With more than 4 million bottles produced each year, the Berlucchi labels are not only invaluable, but are well-calibrated down to the smallest nuance, made to satisfy even the most discerning palate.In 2022 Gambero Rosso named Berlucchi the Winery of the Year 2022.Many more accolades ought to be mentioned:- The Berlucchi '61 Franciacorta Rosé has been included in TOP 100 Wines 2021 by Wine Spectator, as well as being the only Italian Classic Method featured;- The Berlucchi '61 Franciacorta Rosé NV Magnum has been certified "Best in Class" in the "Franciacorta Rosé NV" category by the The Champagne and Sparkling Wine World Competition 2021 (CSWWC), conceived by Tom Stevenson.
