Location Hilly vineyards in the Valpolicella D.O.C. area north of Verona
釀造 The term 'ripasso' is a historical and unique Valpolicella winemaking technique that consists of macerating Valpolicella wine on the marc (from dried grapes) previously used for the production of Amarone or Recioto. The purpose of this process is to add softness, complexity and body to the wine.
陳年 This is followed by an extended period of ageing in medium-sized Slovenian oak barrels.
