Bosco del Merlo Campo Camino Merlot Riserva 2020

A pure Merlot expressing both a strong varietal identity and distinct terroir. Produced from a selection of the best clones, whose production loads are intensively reduced to reach perfect phenolic maturity. The top priority is to obtain a perfect grape at harvest, as this condition is the prerequisite for long skin macerations in which the colouring substances, aromas and tannins will pass from the skins and seeds to the wine to create its structure.

The aroma is broad and interesting due to the balance of fruity and spicy notes.

On the palate, it is velvety, full-bodied and harmonious, with excellent structure.

Pairing

It is excellent with braised or roasted red meats, grilled meats and medium-aged cheeses or with 'Frico', i.e. a Friulian dish of cheese, potatoes and onion cooked together. This wine is especially excellent with alpine cheeses.

歷史	The name 'Campo Camino' is the vineyard's name. It evokes the tall chimney of the old brick kiln that stands out beyond the border.
Location	Annone Veneto (Venice).
釀造	The grapes are macerated for more than 20 days. This is followed by malolactic fermentation, which gives roundness and softness to balance the typical fragrances of Merlot.
陳年	Maturation takes place in 30-hl barrels for 12 months and concludes with further ageing in bottles for 4 months.
