Antica Cascina dei Conti di Roero Barbera d'Alba 2020

The grapes come from the vineyard of Cascina Penna, in the town of Canale, an area that has always been suited to the cultivation of Barbera: three hectares facing east resembling an amphitheatre, with a large cherry tree in the centre.

Bright ruby red.

Scents of ripe fruit, plum, blackberry and Marasca cherry.

Fragrant, fresh, good acidity, with an aftertaste of berries and vanilla.

Pairing

It pairs well with typical pasta dishes of Piedmont, such as agnolotti and tajarin. It also pairs with roasted meats and medium-aged cheeses.
