Meditation wine intense ruby colour, in which the presence of fruity aromas, with hints of jam, dried plum, blueberry and clove, and the high polyphenolic complexity combined with a soft sweetness, lead to a long taste persistence where dark chocolate and spices are found.

Deep ruby-purple red.

Extraordinary and ample aromatic intensity with fruity aromas and hints of blueberry, blackberry, cassis, prune and red jam. In the finish, chocolate and sweet roasted woody notes.

Balanced sweetness on vibrant acidity; solidly structured tannins with prolonged hints of red jam. Dark chocolate and spices can be found in the long persistence.

Pairing

Sweet and sour meat dishes or with chestnuts and aged cheeses as well as dry cakes and jam tarts, red fruit, especially blackberry.

历史 One of Umbria's oldest indigenous grape varieties, it has characteristics of great polyphenolic complexity: for this reason, it traditionally existed only in the Passito wine version.
