Feudo Maccari Family & Friends Firraru 2021

The Grillo grape variety is very versatile and lends itself well to ageing due to its characteristics. For this reason, Dr Moretti Cuseri decided to try ageing a small part in wood and cement ovens for a few close friends and family, who greatly appreciated this new pure version. Given its success, he then decided to put it on the market.

Hints of citrus, orange blossom, acacia honey, balsamic herbs, light notes of ginger and vanilla and hints of the sea.

Soft, full-bodied and dense on the palate, with a tasty, mineral texture and beautiful freshness that flows into a savoury, persistent finish.

Pairing

It pairs well with seafood gratins, crispy octopus, grilled fish, delicate risottos and roasted white meat.
