Bright garnet.

Bouquet

An evocative olfactory spectrum that seems to recall sea and land elements: salty notes of seaweed and sea backwash combine with humus, cinchona, gentian and medicinal herbs. Balsamic puffs and hints of cigar box enhance ripe, crisp hints of plum and cherry.

Flavour

Silky in the mouth, it unfolds slowly, revealing a vein and an intact texture with smooth and noble tannins. Long, tasty and balsamic finish that invites drinkability.

Ageing After malolactic fermentation, the wine is aged in 25-hectolitre Slavonian oak barrels. After bottling, generally in August, Barolo Ginestra Casa Matè rests in the cellar for 8-10 months before being marketed.
