Un Barbaresco dotato di un' eccezionale equilibrio tra tannino e acidità, dal carattere deciso e dalla solida struttura. Profumi delicati di prugna e frutta matura rendono lo Starderi estremamente godibile in gioventù, sebbene esprima il suo massimo potenziale dopo alcuni anni di affinamento in bottiglia.

Complex, even explosive in the immediate notes of fruit, sweet spices, liquorice and chocolate.

Flavour

In the mouth, it is imposing, with hints of oak that gradually release balsamic aromas. Harmonious between sweetness and tannins.

Vinification The maceration and fermentation process lasts 7-8 days in temperature-controlled rotary fermenters. Malolactic fermentation takes place in oak barrels.
Ageing Entirely in new, medium-toasted French barriques for 20-22 months. After ageing, the wine is transferred to steel vats for about 3 months, then bottled, followed by bottle ageing for about 12 months.
