Azelia Barolo 2017
The real Nebbiolo, in purity. Castiglione Falletto and Serralunga d'Alba match here in a superlative way. Aroma and finesse with power and body at the same time. Sweet nose, with hints of cherry, black currant and licorice. Fruity tannins. A union of characters.

Colour

Intense ruby red.

Bouquet

Fine and multifaceted in woody tones reminiscent of violets and wild roses, dry leaves, laurel, bramble berries, resin, mugo needles and licorice stick.

Flavour

Aristocratic the taste bud, of good balance, topped with muscular tannins and a long savory-spicy persistence. Everything is ready for a later taste.

Pairing

Meat
Game
Cheese
Matured cheese
Pork
