Mas de Daumas Gassac is a producer of French wine region of Languedoc, classified as Vin de Pays de l'Hérault because it uses grape varieties not permitted by its Appellation d'origine contrôlée (AOC). It produces both red and white and is located in the south of France, in the municipality of Aniane. In spite of its modest appellation and localization has received the unanimous approval: for the U.S. newspaper The Times is as good as a "Latour" and for the French magazine Gault Millau is the "Lafite Rothschild of the Languedoc-Roussillon."
