Description

Perfect expression of a terroir particularly capable of giving excellent wines, the Barbaresco Gallina DOCG tells with precision and pride the peculiarities of the prestigious appellation of which it is part: the son of both young and old vines, between rows planted 50 years ago and others in more recently, it feeds on a marly soil rich in fine sand.

il y a 38 ans, les frères Franco et Carlo Pontiglione et Giuseppe Priola, ont fondé Bel Colle ; c'était un rêve devenu réalité, c'était un pari gagné. Vinification with fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature, post fermentation maceration, and racking after 22-25 days, racking and malolactic fermentation completed with the maintenance of the temperature. A long period of maturation in large oak barrels with subsequent rest in bottle.
Vieillissement 24 months in oak barrels, followed by 6 months in bottle. Yeast: indigenous yeasts.
