Description
What kind of wine it is
Paul Gosset's Champagne stands out for its pale pink colour, enlivened by a fine and persistent perlage. On the nose, it reveals clear notes of red fruits, enriched by delicate pastry nuances. On the palate, a pronounced freshness emerges, combined with a distinct minerality, characteristics enhanced by the Extra Brut dosage, which gives the sip a taut, rigorous and dry profile. The harmonious and well-structured drink is ideal for accompanying starters, shellfish and lean fish, but also pairs elegantly with cheeses and fruit desserts.
Where it comes from
This wine originates from the prestigious village of Aÿ, in the heart of Champagne. The grapes come from vineyards cultivated according to the principles of organic and sustainable agriculture, with full respect for the environment. Thanks to this careful agronomic management, the Pinot Noir grapes achieve excellent quality, faithfully expressing the nuances of the terroir and ensuring the wine has great ageing potential over time.
How it is produced
Production strictly follows the Traditional Method, with secondary fermentation in the bottle. This is a rosé obtained through maceration of the must in contact with the skins, a technique that naturally extracts the colour and enriches the flavour profile. After fermentation, the wine matures for a minimum of ten months, a crucial phase for the integration of aromas. Served at a temperature of 6–8 °C, this cuvée maintains a fresh and mineral structure, offering a clear and well-balanced tasting experience.
