Description
What kind of wine it is
Lointier Champagne Negra is a Rosé Champagne made from Pinot Noir grapes and produced using the Traditional Method. In the glass, it reveals a fine perlage and an elegant bouquet intertwining raspberry aromas with delicate woodland notes. On the palate, in perfect harmony with the Extra Brut style, it is dry, fresh and well-structured. This pronounced palate cleanliness makes it the ideal companion for raw seafood, sushi, refined starters and cheeses.
Where it comes from
The Champagne by Lointier is produced in Crèzancy, in the heart of the Vallée de la Marne, an area renowned for the exceptional expressiveness of Pinot Noir. The connection with the Champagne region is expressed through artisan viticulture, deeply linked to the terroir. The estate adopts organic and sustainable vineyard management, strictly respecting the natural cycles of the vine. This dedication to the land allows for the production of grapes of the highest quality, capable of conveying the essence of their native soil.
How it is produced
The production process begins with the harvest of bunches at full ripeness, handled according to the principles of the Traditional Method. A distinctive step is the ageing of the musts in oak barrels for eleven months, a phase that imparts complexity and aromatic depth before the secondary fermentation. The subsequent period on the lees ends with a restrained dosage, ensuring a taut, dry and linear sip that enhances the integrity of the fruit.
