Still red wine from Burgundy, 14% ABV, 100% Pinot Noir, produced by Domaine Confuron-Cotetidot. 2020 vintage, 0.75L bottle. An Echezeaux Grand Cru that embodies the excellence of Burgundy, a wine born from the passion of a family with a centuries-old winemaking tradition. The winery is located in Vosne-Romanée and includes some of Burgundy's most prestigious vineyards. Vineyard work is carried out using traditional methods that respect the environment and the plants, favoring low yields and harvesting only when the grapes are at their peak ripeness. The bouquet is a riot of cherry and blackberry aromas, enriched with notes of undergrowth and spicy hints. On the palate, it is robust, structured, and powerful, with a very long finish that invites further tasting.

Domaine Confuron-Cotetidot born in 1964, in Burgundy, in the beautiful Côte de Nuits, the union of two important families in the world of viticulture in Burgundy. The Confuron family, in particular has a wine tradition since the seventeenth century and about a pinot noir strain it even bears the name and is in fact known as pinot-Confuron.

The winery is located in Vosne-Romanèe and includes some of the most prestigious vineyards of Burgundy, with about 11 hectares of its own vineyards, including Grand Cru, Premier Cru and Village. In the vineyard work it is done using traditional methods and respectful towards the environment and plants, favoring low yields and harvests made exclusively in the maximum maturity of the grapes stage.

In the handicraft and traditional cellar of the Domaine, Yves Confuron and his brother Jean-Pierre, the owners and winemakers, not diraspano grapes and practice a long maceration, a few pressing and for aging that will take 18 to 24 months, using wood, primarily 2nd and 3rd passage. The wines are not filtered and end the aging in bottle.
