Description
A still red from Tuscany, Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, 14.5% ABV, produced by Conti Marone Cinzano. Made with 100% Sangiovese, this Brunello embodies the excellence of Montalcino, with a history rooted in Piedmont. In the 17th century, vermouth, from Piedmont, became a global trend. In 1860, Italy discovered the bubbles of "its" champagne, spumante. In the 20th century, Brunello became the most famous wine in the world. Connecting the dots of history is the first neon sign that lit up the Champs-Elysées in 1913: "CINZANO." On the nose, the initial impact is of red fruit, with well-integrated oak; then, peach and violet, followed by subtle menthol notes. The attack on the palate is pleasant, with great finesse and elegance, supported by a good tannic structure. A complete, important, pleasant, elegant wine with a great freshness on the palate.
