Tenuta Ghiaccio Forte

The Ghiaccio Forte estate takes its name from the ancient Etruscan village located a few meters from the vineyards and the river Albegna. It is located in the southern part of the production area of Morellino di Scansano, covers an area of about 70 hectares, of which 15 cultivated on a vineyard. The wines produced are Morellino di Scansano Vigne del Passero, and Morellino di Scansano Ghiaccioforte.
Immersed in the Maremma Tuscany, bordered by the River Albegna and protected by Mount Amiata, this ancient land overlooks the Mediterranean Sea.
The proximity of the river and the sea and the surrounding mountains create an ideal microclimate for the cultivation and production of high quality wines.
