Beschreibung
One of the first Ruffino wines to be produced exclusively from organic grapes. Prugnolo Gentile, the Sangiovese variety grown in the Montepulciano area, differs from Chianti Classico in its hints of ripe fruit and herbaceous notes, intense body and smooth tannins. Vino Nobile di Montepulciano is one of Italy's oldest wines, earning it the title "nobile" (noble), and was the first Italian wine to obtain DOCG status. Ruffino has been producing this wine since 1988.
