Climate |
Both Winter and Spring temperatures were cooler than usual. The vegetative cycle, which started late, then accelerated from the end of May when temperatures rose rapidly. The Summer weather was sunny and stable, lasting until the end of the harvest, which was excellent from all points of view. Altitude: 30-80 m a.s.l. Exposure: facing West to the sea and protected to the East by the Metalliferous Hills. |

Clayey-calcareous, with presence of silt and sand. |
Harvest |
Merlot was harvested in early September, while cabernet franc and cabernet sauvignon in early October. |
Vinification |
Fermentation in stainless steel at controlled temperature. |
Ageing |
18/21 months in French oak barriques, followed by 10 months in the bottle. |
