This Barbera wine is a blend of grapes from various vineyards of the Monfalletto Estate located in Lamorrese and Roero. The grapes come from different altitudes and exposures giving a complexity of aromas in addition to the varying ages of the vines.

Colour

Deep purple.

Bouquet

Notes of ripe fruit, blackberry, cocoa, plum, spices and fragrances.

Flavour

Full-bodied and fresh with very soft tannins.

Pairing

It perfectly pairs with traditional Piedmont dishes like mixed boiled meats, hot cured meats with lentils, cardoon pie and the traditional "bagna cauda" sauce made of vegetables and anchovies.

Vinification	Fermentation for about 20 days with skin contact for 7-8 days in stainless steel and frequent pumping-over. Malolactic fermentation occurs in wood until December.
Ageing	In various French and Slavonian oak barrels for about 7-8 months. Bottling in early summer and marketing a few months later.
