Cordero di Montezemolo Barolo Chinato
A special production obtained by processing Barolo wine. Every year, about a thousand bottles of various old vintages of Barolo (at least over 10 years old) are blended and assembled in a single stainless steel container. To this base of mature Barolo is added cinchona canissaia extract, sugar, alcohol and a secret infusion of various spices (about 15-16).

Colour

Pale brick red tending to orange.

Bouquet

Intense and delicate bouquet of aged Barolo, sarsaparilla and spices - in particular liquorice, marjoram, rhubarb and coriander. It also offers notes of bitter orange peel, absinthe, cinnamon, clove and bay leaf.

Flavour

Soft, warm and powerful, with a semi-sweet and persistent finish.

Pairing

Perfect as an after-meal digestif with meliga or hazelnut pastries, dry pastries or bitter chocolate. It is also excellent as an apéritif, served at even lower temperatures.
