History |
Founded in 1948 by Mario Antoniolo, the farm of the same name was established from the beginning to enhance the wines of Gattinara. In the 1980s, Mrs Rosanna took over management. With the help of her children Lorella and Alberto, she produces and bottles DOC and DOCG wines exclusively from the estate's vineyards, an area that today totals 12 hectares mostly occupied by Nebbiolo. "Osso S. Grato" is a cru extending over 5.5 hectares. Here, the Nebbiolo vines were planted in the early 1960s on south-facing soils of volcanic origin. |
