The vegetative cycle is fairly short, making the vine suitable for cultivation even in the relatively cool areas of northern Spain, such as Rioja where in the Garnacha blend comes the most famous reds of Spain. In addition to Argentina, where it is known as Tempranilla, it has also found a terroir of choice in Tuscany, Lazio and observation in the province of Bolzano. |
