| Geschichte |
The Nascetta vine is a native of the Albese area, cultivated on the hills between Barolo and Novello. The Rovasenda, cites it with the name of "Anascetta" in his "Essay of a universal ampelography" of 1877 and describes it as "very delicate grape and exquisite wine". At the time, in addition to blending with grapes, this grape was certainly used for table consumption.

Berry: medium-sized (2.2 g), very short elliptical (1.50 x 1.40 cm), with a thin, medium pruinose, yellow-colored skin, a little amber when ripe (with the presence of rusty spots); prominent navel; juicy, colorless pulp, good yield of must (66%), with a simple taste. |

The wine obtained from the Nascetta grape is straw-yellow in color with greenish reflections. On the palate it is intense, floral and fruity. |
