A valley with a sectional conformation divided into a ``U`` shaped valley caressed by glaciers, and a ``V`` shaped part excavated and eroded by the Avisio torrent. Slopes with gradients of sometimes 40%, 700 km and more of dry stone walls respectfully following the natural conformation of the land.

Moraine hills and glacial cirques are a unique geological and architectural spectacle of the territory.
