描述

A variety originally from France, Sauvignon was introduced into Friuli under the Hapsburgs and became widely planted in the early 20th century. The wine is refreshing and captivating, with a generously wide, distinctive range of aromas, with notes of exotic fruit, yellow pepper, tomato leaf, mint and boxwood notes. It's a traditional wine from Friuli.

Intense, typical, elegant and articulated. The richness of aromas highlights fruit with blackcurrant, passion fruit and white melon; flowers with Lantana, elderberry and orange blossom; spices with chilli and ginger; and freshness with oregano, marjoram and mint leaves. Varietal notes of boxwood and tomato leaves blend with subtle citrus hints of lime and grapefruit.

Ample, fresh, rich and balanced. The perfume complexity is well preserved on the palate. Lime and sage fuse with the explosion of tropical and ripe fruit. Great freshness, pleasant savoury notes and balanced acidity. Long and progressive with mineral hints on the finish, remarkable persistence.

Livio Felluga is a historic Friulian winery, named after its founder, known for the exceptional quality of the wines it produces, made famous by labels that symbolise the estates on which the property stood. The history of the Livio Felluga winery began at the end of World War II, when Livio managed to acquire vineyards near Rosazzo in the province of Udine and in the vicinity of the Colli Orientali del Friuli area. Coming from a family that was involved in the production of wines such as Malvasia and Refosco in Istria, Livio decided to focus on the quality of his wines through the use of techniques that were cutting-edge for the time. Thanks to work based on the elaboration of Red and white Felluga wines from international and indigenous grapes such as Chardonnay and Sauvignon, Livio has succeeded in bringing Friulian wine production back into vogue. Wines such as the famous White wine Terre Alte, or the red Sossò belong to the Livio Felluga winery. 酿酒工艺 The grapes are carefully destemmed and left to macerate for a short period. Next, the fruit is soft crushed. The must obtained is then allowed to settle. The now-clarified must ferments in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks.
