Description
An indigenous Sicilian variety with a luminous straw yellow colour. On the nose it shows a Mediterranean character, with a refined bouquet from which fragrant nuances of white pulp fruit, peach, almond and orange blossom emerge. On the palate it shows freshness, softness and elegance.

Tenute Orestiadi is an ancient name that evokes distant myths and legends, that in fact amidst these lands found life thanks to Aeschylus, that more than 20 centuries ago wrote and brought to the stage the legend of ORESTES and of the ORESTIADI.
Tenute Orestiadi was awarded 3 gold medals at the International Mundus Wine Competition Spring Tasting 2021. Here are the medal-winning wines:

Soil composition | White Soil, typical of the hills of the Belice Valley, the land is of medium compactness with a very high limestone and gypsum component, coming from the numerous chalky-sulphurous formations present in the area where the dry microclimate and good water retention enhances the typical minerality of the ground, making it the ideal soil for the cultivation of indigenous white varietals such as Grillo, Zibibbo, Inzolia, Catarratto and Grecanico. |
