Description
The DeLago Cruna is one of the oldest vines cultivated by the family, originally elliptical in shape like the eye of a needle, and just over a hectare in size. Planted about 65 years ago with vines of Falanghina Campi Flegrei, at an altitude of about 30 metres above sea level, it is grown with a bilateral Guyolt system, also called 'Spalliera puteolana'. The wine, of the same name, is a cru of the vineyard itself, whose aim is to express the maximum potential of the vine, the territory and tradition and, at the same time, to challenge time.

To give a hand to the young oenologist the precious volcanic composition of the soil rich in ash and lapilli, which has allowed for more than eighty years to fortify and repair from phylloxera, and the established family wine-growing tradition begun three generations ago.
We have to wait another year to re-fertilize Marsiliano and white Domus Giulii, wines belonging to the line dedicated to amber and oenological research. Read more
