Description

From the younger vineyards of Merlot and the historic Aleatico, cultivated in the Tuscia area, we obtain the grapes for the production of this rosé wine. We took the greatest care in harvesting the grapes when the sugar-acidity ripening had reached the established balance.

The company was founded in 1979 in an area between Lake Bolsena in Lazio and the city of Orvieto, a hilly area with similar climatic and soil characteristics which, as demonstrated by the long winemaking traditions of these places, is particularly suitable for viticulture. Thanks to the numerous investments made over the years, it has grown from a small family business into a successful business in a short time. Good production, with the absence of the new Ogrà, the result of a project on the Syrah in Alta Tuscia conducted in collaboration with Attilio Scienza. Read more

Wine making Cold maceration for 2 hours at 10 °C on Merlot, for 1 hour at 10 °C on Aleatico. Alcoholic fermentation in steel for 12 days. After the end of the alcoholic fermentation, the wine remains in steel in contact with its fine lees. The blend is then carried out. Malolactic fermentation: not carried out.
