Fontanafredda Langhe Chardonnay Ampelio 2021

We are used to never being over the top, but sometimes whimsical and eccentric wines are born: the Fuoriclasse. Ampelio is about the ability to humanise ampelography, bringing the vine to life. It stems from the desire to identify with this grape, the Chardonnay, discovering its total balance and harmony, in search of peace of mind in the glass.

The taste is savoury, dry and soft, full, harmonious and long lasting.

Although it is a great aperitif, at the table - thanks to its structure - it is also an ideal companion for all courses.

Location	Alba, Treiso, Serralunga d'Alba and Diano d'Alba
氣候	Exposure: East/west. Medium-high hillside vineyards.
土地的組成	Calcareous and arenaceous marl-rich soil.
釀造	After crushing, the must is immediately separated from the skins and is refrigerated and undergoes static racking. The fermentation is then carried out using selected yeasts, 70% in stainless steel at a controlled temperature (20° C), and the remaining 30% in small new Allier oak barrels holding 225 litres.
陳年	The wine is aged in wood for about 6 months, during which time malolactic fermentation is completed. In the spring following the harvest, the two parts are blended and then bottled.
