Duca di Salaparuta Triskele 2016
Made from grapes cultivated in the Tenuta Suor Marchesa, Triskelè is a refined blend of two highly different but complementary varieties, Nero d’Avola and Merlot. A harmonic marriage that engenders a red with an assertive personality, elegant and enduring, perfectly expressing the territory it comes from.

Deep, ruby red with garnet red highlights.

Complex, intense, spicy, with marked notes of morello cherry and vanilla.

Warm, velvety well-bodied and aromatically persistent.

系統 Vertical shoot positioning trellised and bush-trained vines, high density of plants with low yield per hectare.
收成 By hand, at full ripening (from mid-September to midOctober, depending on the variety).
釀造 De-stemming of the grapes and traditional, separate macerations, from 8 to 12 days (28 - 30 °C). The wines are blended after that the malolactic fermentation is completed.
陳年 At least 10 - 12 months in fine-grained oak barriques. After bottling, 10 - 12 months in cellar at controlled temperature (15° - 16° C.) to develope its bouquet.

匹配 Especially recommended with dishes of red meat and aged cheeses.
