Castelvecchio Carso Cabernet Sauvignon 2020

This is Castelvecchio's most structured and important wine and comes from grapes harvested in mid/late October. A ruby red wine with an intense and harmonious bouquet rich in a thousand nuances that evolve with ageing. The flavour is full-bodied, elegant and ample. It is an ideal complement to meats, roasts or game of high culinary proposals.

Deep ruby red with brownish hues and bright reflections.

Complex with notes of vanilla and red fruits such as raspberry, followed by ripe fruit notes and mineral hints.

氣候	The area is always windy and is influenced by the nearby sea.
土地的組成	Arid and rocky soil with a little layer of red soil rich in iron and limestone.
收成	First half of October.
發酵期	About 15 days.
釀造	Fermentation with maceration in stainless steel tanks for about 15 days.
陳年	After the first 4 months in stainless steel to complete malolactic fermentation, the wine is left for 1 year in small French and Californian oak barrels. This is followed by 1 year in larger Slavonian/French oak barrels. The wine ages for a further six months before being marketed.
