Tenute Bosco Etna Rosso Prephylloxera Vigna Vico 2016
This wine comes from a unique terroir expressing a wine of extraordinary complexity and elegance. It originates from an area located in the village of Santo Spirito, which is not covered by the volcanic eruption occurred in 1879. This terroir is unique expressing an exceptional winegrowing tradition.

颜色

Bright, ruby red with garnet hues.

香气/花束

Mineral presence and balsamic sensations interplay with the flavours of ripe fruit in alcohol, cherry, blackcurrant, and strawberries, followed and complemented by aromas of pepper and liquorice, juniper berries and tobacco leaves.

Strong and full of taste, still fresh with well-perceptible tannins. Long persistence, with a pleasant and satisfying closing.

酿造 Grapes are gently destemmed and put into truncated conical steel tanks, where fermentation takes place lasting up to 20 days at a controlled temperature. Daily punching-down cycles ensure proper extraction of aromas and colour from the skins.
陈年 After malolactic fermentation, the wine stays in 700-litre French oak tonneaux for at least 14 months. Subsequently in steel vats for at least three months, and in bottles for at least 12 months.
