Calidonio, the Greek mithology term referring to the Calydonian boar, or Calydone, strong and mighty hero's antagonist.

颜色

Intense ruby red with violet reflections.

香气/花束

It has an intense hint of fruit, in particular cherries and small fruits such as raspberry, accompanied by floral notes of violet.

味道

The taste is balanced and harmonious with a large body due to the use of wood, and aging in bottle, balanced by a pleasant acidic shoulder, typical of the variety.

Tasty first courses, red meat dishes, poultry or pigeon filled with the Samnite tradition.

收成	Manual harvesting in boxes at the end of September and the beginning of October with the red foot grapes that have reached full ripeness and the first harvest of Aglianico.
酿造	Destemming, fermentation and maceration for 10 days. Extraction by pumping over, racking, soft pressing and transfer into tanks for natural clarification, followed by racking into steel containers.
陈年	Approximately 70% of the wine evolves for 6 months in large casks and is then reunited to the main mass. The batch thus blended, is bottled for a slow phase of refinement.
