I Piccoli Vignaioli Meriggio Rebola
Rebola is a grape variety present in the Rimini area since ancient times, originating from the Hellenic area, identifiable with Grechetto Gentile, known on the hills around Bologna as pignoletto. Traditionally used to produce passito wines, in its dry version it gives a fresh wine with a good alcohol content, pleasant to the taste, delicately fruity but capable of acquiring complexity with a passage in wood. Our pure Rebola is harvested entirely by hand to select the best grapes. The resulting wine has a straw-yellow colour that encompasses all the colour and warmth of the afternoon sun, hence the name. The taste is harmonious and pleasant, fresh, the aroma delicately fruity, with distinct notes of white peach. It is a very versatile wine that finds its place with local fish dishes, the famous piadina, and white meats from our countryside. Our Rebola is the pure expression of a territory, the Rimini area, where the smell of the sea is inextricably linked to the light breezes of the green hinterland and evokes, from the first sip, all the carefree atmosphere of a holiday in Romagna.
