Domaine Louis Michel & Fils Chablis 1er Cru Sechet 2020

In the past, Premier Cru Séchets was vinified with Vaillons, but this wine has been made separately since 2010. Its aromatic richness, complexity and sharp minerality make it an excellent Premier Cru for ageing. It comes from a magnificent terroir widely considered one of the best in Chablis, producing powerful and defined wines from the Chardonnay grape variety. A great Premier Cru from a unique Domaine.

Location	Sechet, Chablis wine region. The vineyard overlooks the town of Chablis, sitting atop the hill that houses the Vaillons Premier Cru vineyard. Sechet is one of several vineyards on this hill that may invoke the Vaillons Premier Cru title instead of its own, Vaillons being the best-known name in the area.
气候	Exposure: South-East. The vineyards are exposed to a gentle morning sun that is less intense than that felt on the steeper slopes to the West. Sechet has a cooler microclimate as a result, with a long, slow ripening period that allows the grapes to retain their characteristic acidity while still developing aromatic complexity.
土地的组成	Kimmeridgian subsoil. Rich in limestone, clay, marl and marine fossils.
