Castelvecchio Carso Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso 2020
Originating from an ancient Friulian grape variety, Refosco di Castelvecchio has a deep ruby red colour, an ethereal, slightly vinous aroma with a bold character. The flavour is dry, full-bodied and vaguely bitterish. Roasts and game are particularly enhanced by this wine, which also goes well with other structured dishes of the Friulan cuisine.
