This Carmignano DOCG, born in 1979 from the idea of Vittorio Contini Bonacossi, is produced in small quantities from the two vineyards surrounding the 16th-century villa of Trefiano. Around the estate, a few hectares of vines with excellent characteristics and a fortunate exposure allow the production of a particularly elegant and velvety Carmignano: this is Trefiano DOCG, made from a blend of Sangiovese, Cabernet and Canaiolo grapes.

Ample, elegant, persistent and fruity with spicy notes.

味道

Soft, structured and fatty with a dense tannin texture. Acidity is in balance with the structure and volume of the wine. Long, persistent aftertaste with fruity notes of small red fruits combined with spices. Excellent aromatic dimension at the end of the palate with a rich spicy, fruity aftertaste.

It pairs well with all meats in general and cheeses.
