历史	Colombard is a variety of white French wine grapes that is the offspring of Gouais blanc and Chenin blanc. This makes the grapes the brother of Armagnac Meslier Saint François and the almost extinct Cognac Balzac blanc grape.
特色酒	A fruity white wine is obtained, both dry and sweet.
笔记	Colombart is a traditionally cultivated white berry to obtain a sour and thin wine to distill out by producing Cognac and Armagnac. It is one of the most widely cultivated vines in California as well as in Australia and South Africa. In South West France it is also turned into a light, soft and fruity table wine, not expensive and destined to be drunk right away. In California, it is usually mixed with Chenin Blanc to make moderately dry and fruity caraway wines. Despite its origins, Colombard grape wines are young to drink and may begin to deplete after 3 or 4 years from bottling.

I found a wine at a specific year that I couldn’t find anywhere else and saw on their website, so I called in to check if the stock they had was the same showing on their website. Flaminia was very friendly and polite and also very knowledgable. She was able to make sure it was exactly what I was looking for and got back to me very quickly through email. Not only that, she also reminded me to sign up for some member-only offer which was actually really helpful because I got to explore more of their great selection and save on the shipping almost!
