Paolo Scavino Barolo Cannubi 2018
Cannubi is probably the most historic vineyard in the whole of Barolo. The winery has been vinifying this cru since 1985, and this is one of the winery's two oldest vineyards, planted in 1946 on the central crest of Cannubi hill. The low yield of this vineyard is due to a particular combination of natural factors, one of which is the old age of the vines, which ensures a unique quality. Here comes this Barolo's concentration and richness, where the charm of Nebbiolo is fully expressed. It has a harmonious and excellent structure.

Colour

Medium ruby red.

Bouquet

On the nose, the 'classic' components of Cannubi Nebbiolo, that of Indian spices and ash and that of rosewater and bergamot merge and duet.

Flavour

Powerful tannin, the finish is definitely played on returns of incense.
