Montepulciano d'Abruzzo is the "king" of Abruzzo's varieties. Emidio Pepe describes it as the wine of the future for its immediate beauty and its aging potential.

Hints of ripe red fruit, completed by hints of humus, sandalwood and cut grass.

Austere, dry, intense and with a good tannic texture, powerful in the impact with a very long finish.
