Rosé classic method sparkling wine brut

How to serve

Serve at:

06 - 08°C.

Longevity:

05 - 10 years

Glass:

Berlucchi '61 Franciacorta Rosé

Perlage

Soft, supple mousse with good persistence of a tenuous crown; fine, continuous perlage.

Colour

Intense pink, which may vary slightly with each harvest due to the different degree of phenolic maturity of the Pinot Noir.

Bouquet

Elegant notes of berries and ripe fruit, well blended with delicate scents of yeast and bread crust. Pleasant vinosity, due to the short maceration of the Pinot Noir on the skins during vinification.

Flavour

On the palate it is fine, elegant, lively and full-bodied; the medium-high dosage of sugars balances the marked acidity.

Pairing

Excellent as an aperitif, it is a pleasant accompaniment to cured meats and savoury first courses and cheeses, including mature ones; its structure is enhanced when paired with shellfish.
