The Allimant - Laugner winery was born over two centuries ago, when the Napoleonic officer François Antoine Allimant bought a 'domaine' and some surrounding land in Alsace. The Allimant-Laugner combination was created with the marriage between Mariette Allimant and René Laugner.
The company is based in Haut-Koenigsbourg, Alsace, a production area amongsy others of Cremant d’Alsace.
Today three generations of the Allimant - Laugner family work in the company. The vineyards extend over 12 hectares with soils mainly composed of plaster, granite or gneiss. The wines produced are mainly still whites, alongside the classic Crémant d’Alsace method, available in Blanc or Rosé versions. To produce the ‘blanc’ version all the typical vineyards of this territory are used: Pinot Bianco, Pinot Grigio and Riesling.
