History Nielluccio – Sciaccarello is an important blended wine made on the French island of Corsica. Both varieties are widely planted, and reflect the island's Italian heritage: Nielluccio is perhaps best known by its Tuscan name Sangiovese, and Sciaccarello is also planted there under the name Mammolo. Together, the two make a savory, herbal wine with a touch of rusticity.
