||It is an autochthonous grape of the Garda area and its name comes from the cultivation area: Mocasina sul Garda.
||It was mentioned for the first time by Bacci in 1556, which compared it to Pignola.

Bunch: small, cylindrical, tight, sometimes has a small wing.
Acino: medium, spherical, medium-thick, pruinose, black-blue peel.
Plant particularly sensitive to botrytis.
